During our time at the USA Fencing Junior Olympics<\/strong>, we were struck not only by the intensity of the competition, but also by the banners and historical displays that showcased fencing\u2019s long and rich history. Originating centuries ago as a form of swordsmanship and honor-based combat, fencing has evolved into a modern sport that blends tradition with strategy, discipline, and athleticism. Seeing how an ancient sport has endured and adapted over time was deeply inspiring to us. It reminded us that fencing is more than just competition\u2014it is a living legacy that continues to shape character, confidence, and resilience. As a relatively small and often overlooked sport, fencing deserves greater recognition and accessibility, especially for young children who can benefit immensely from it. Through fencing, kids learn focus, respect, perseverance, and self-confidence\u2014skills that extend far beyond the strip. Our mission is to help this historic sport remain relevant and accessible today by expanding awareness and opportunities, ensuring that fencing continues to positively impact new generations just as it has for centuries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
