On October 16, the founders of the All Star Outreach Foundation had the opportunity to meet Mayor Janice Lim of Yorba Linda at a local community event. The brief introduction allowed us to share our mission of expanding access to the sport of fencing and empowering youth through discipline, resilience, and opportunity.
During our brief interaction, we introduced the mayor to our goal of making fencing more accessible in underserved communities by providing equipment, instruction, and mentorship. Mayor Lim expressed interest in our initiative and welcomed our dedication to youth development through athletics and education.
This meeting marks an exciting step forward as we continue building partnerships across Orange County. We look forward to future outreach opportunities that connect students with the unique benefits of fencing: confidence, focus, and respect, both on and off the strip.
